"Ride for the River" Motorcycle Poker Run

The "Ride for the River" is a motorcycle poker run, an annual event for the SBWA that highlights the beauty of the South Branch Raritan River Watershed. The ride begins at Spruce Run Reservoir parking lot in Clinton, NJ. Participants ride on various roads along the scenic South Branch Raritan River, stopping along the way to pick cards to establish a poker hand. Participants are given a map with route directions; the ride covers almost 75 miles. Prizes are awarded for the highest poker hands at the end point where the event is celebrated with a picnic. All makes of motorcycles are welcome!

All proceeds benefit the South Branch Watershed Association. Corporate sponsors are welcome. For additional information, see the event details as well as the highlights (summary, photographs and sponsors) from previous years' events.

Annual Appeal

Thank you to all who contributed to our Annual Appeal for 2009. Your support is so important to the work we do to protect and enhance the water resources of the South Branch. We had a record number of donors this year which was very gratifying. Our special thanks to our River Watch Club members and Supporters who contributed to this special year-end appeal.
